FISEC India is an organization working for the development and promotion of FISEC Games in India since 2008. FISEC India is a member of the Fédération Internationale Sportive de l'Enseignement Catholique (FISEC), an international school sports federation recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). Founded in 1948, FISEC has a rich legacy of more than seven decades in promoting international school sports and youth development. Aligned with the global vision of FISEC, FISEC India is committed to promoting physical education and organised school sports across the country, with a strong emphasis on holistic youth development within an educational framework, while providing young school and club athletes an opportunity to compete on an international platform through the prestigious FISEC Games.
Objectives
To promote physical education and organised school sports in India in line with the values and principles of FISEC.
To identify, nurture, and develop young sporting talent at the school level and provide opportunities for participation in international competitions, including the FISEC Games.
To facilitate interaction, friendship, and cultural exchange among young students through sports, fostering mutual understanding in a global environment.
To contribute to the development of sport within the context of education, particularly within value-based and holistic educational systems.
To organise inter-school, national, and international sports events that integrate competition with cultural, educational, and social activities.
To promote the values of fair play, discipline, teamwork, and respect through professionally conducted sporting activities guided by qualified sports educators.
